Ubuni School of Media and Creative arts is back again with its 4th workshop and this time it is on directing. After candidates learnt how to write and present scripts in the previous 3 workshop, they now move to learn how to direct the story. The writing Workshops have successfully seen the development of an interesting series bible which the Ubuni team plans to produce into a TV series for broadcast networks.
Dubbed Take 4-Directing, the Directing workshop is meant to give the participant practical skills that will come in useful when the script finally goes into production. The directing workshop will be conducted by the renowned and experienced filmmaker and director Cajetan Boy who will use actors and crew for practical demonstration and learning for participants to depict a real set.
The workshops also provides an ideal platform for networking, exchanging knowledge and experiences between the various participants who are encouraged to attend all the workshops up to the stage of the actual production of the script that is underway.
The Directing workshop will take place on 9th August 2014 at Katanazi Restaurant, Kirichwa Road, a few meters past New Nairobi Women Hospital, Adams Arcade, Kilimani from 10 am - 2pm.
The charges are only Kshs 1,500.00. Tea/ snacks will be provided.
