Avril’s new movie #WorldTofauti set to premier this December 2017.

Fans of Avril are in for a treat this December as Christmas comes early for them. A new romantic film starring her and renown actor Innocent Njunguna is about to be premier. Join this special screening of a film that explores the power of love as boy meets girl but boy and girl are totally from different worlds.

Kikwetu production is inviting you for the premiere of World Tofauti on Friday 22nd December 2017 at the Kenya National Theatre (Nairobi) 6:30 pm for only Ksh 1,000.

It’s a story about characters from different backgrounds that meet and fall in love in spite all the odds. Hinga played by Innocent Njunguna is a decent man with a fine job and lives in a porsche estate and is to marry his longtime girlfriend and fiancé Ciru played by Maureen Njau. Ciru is a controlling drama queen that expects things to be done her way. She wants Hinga to go get their wedding gown outside the country and yet she had not given him prior notice, he doesn’t seem too pleased to go but has to do it to avoid confrontations with her. On his way to the airport, he gets a puncture, he meets Nina played by Avril Nyambura. Nina is beautiful,  go-getter and risk taker from the slums and does what she can to survive the harsh ghetto life. Hinga loses his laptop, air ticket and passport which are stolen by Nina and her gang. The police come to burst the crew but Nina manages to escape from them with the help of Hinga. Nina returns the favor and goes to bring his stuff back. They get attracted to each other and fall in love in the process.


The film’s unique collection of stories includes the producer and director Kangethe Mungai.

Kangethe who is behind the success of Tumaini Senta a drama series that aired on KTN.
